An investigation has been launched after clothes were stolen from two charity donation banks in Dundee.
Entry was forced to a Salvation Army bank on Riverside Drive between 9am on Thursday, January 18 and 9am on Saturday, January 20.
A similar incident occurred at another Salvation Army bank on South Road between 8.45am on Thursday, January 18 and 9am on Saturday, January 20.
Clothing was stolen on both occasions.
Police have said similar incidents were reported in 2023 in Tayside, Fife and Glasgow but it’s not yet clear whether they are linked.
Sergeant John Maddocks said: “Incidents such as this are very disruptive for the charity trying to raise funds for good causes.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information to call 101, quoting reference 3052 or 3112 of January 22.”
