Three people have been charged with drug offences after a cannabis haul worth £49,000 was recovered in Dundee.
Police found the stash after executing a search warrant on a property in the city’s Amond Gardens.
Officers also recovered £2,000 in cash.
Two men, aged 39 and 27, and a 33-year-old woman, were arrested in connection with the find.
All three have now been charged and police say a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Constable Matty Alexander said: “We know the misery drug misuse can cause in our local communities and Operation Argonite works to disrupt the supply of illegal substances and trace those involved.
“This recovery means a significant quantity of drugs will not end up on our streets and underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“Information and support from the public is vital to our work and I would encourage anyone with concerns about drug activity in their area to contact us via 101.”
