Three people in hospital after four-vehicle crash  during rush hour

Three people have been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash during rush hour in Aberdeenshire.

Emergency services were called to the A96 at Huntly following reports of a collision at around 6.55am on Wednesday.

Three people were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The severity of their injuries is unknown.

The road reopened more than 12 hours later.

An investigation is ongoing.
