Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Aberdeenshire which left a road closed for six hours.
Police were called at around 5.15pm on Sunday, May 7 to the collision involving three cars on the A93 near Cambus O’May, Ballater.
The road was closed between the B972 and A93, the A97 and A93, and the B9119 was also closed with diversions in place.
It was confirmed that the road fully reopened in the early hours of Monday morning, six hours after the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving three cars on the A93 near Cambus O’May around 5.15pm on Sunday, May 7.
“Three people were taken to hospital for treatment. The road was closed for around six hours and has since fully reopened.”
