A road in Fife was shut down by emergency services on Friday morning after a tractor burst into flames during rush hour.
Fire crews rushed to the scene of the blaze on the B945 near Tayport where the tractor had caught fire around 8.24am.
Both lanes of the road were blocked by the flames while smoke billowed into the air.
Two appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) worked to extinguish the blaze and said no one was injured as a result of the incident.
A spokesperson for SFRS said: “We were alerted at 8.24am on Friday, October 28 to reports of a tractor alight on the B945 near Tayport.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
Police confirmed they were also called to assist at the scene at 8.55am.
