Train lines blocked as emergency services on scene of incident

Train lines between Keith and Elgin have been blocked amid an ongoing incident.

Emergency services were called to an incident between the stations around 3.30pm on Saturday. The nature of the incident is currently unknown.

Train services between Aberdeen and Inverness have been cancelled, delayed or revised.

ScotRail has confirmed that rail tickets will be accepted on local bus routes at no extra cost with Stagecoach North buses between Inverness and Aberdeen.

Police Scotland and British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
