Two suspects have been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Fraserburgh.
The incident occurred in Watermill Road in the town at around 10.55pm on Saturday.
The victim was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The two men, aged 44 and 30, are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the incident on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 44 and 30, have been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 33-year-old man in which happened in Watermill Road, Fraserburgh, around 10.55pm on Saturday, May 13.
“The victim was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The men are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, May 15.”
