Two men have been charged and a man has been released following an arrest after a body was discovered on a street in Peterhead.
Police were called to an address in the Ives Road area of the town at around 9pm on Sunday after receiving reports that a man had died.
On arrival, officers discovered a body outside the property.
Three men were arrested in connection with the death, but a 22-year-old man was later released without charge.
Officers confirmed the other two men, aged 21 and 27, had been charged in connection with the death and are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
The man who died is yet to be identified.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Sunday, February 5, 2023, officers responding to a report of the death of a man on Ives Road, Peterhead, found the body of a man outside an address.
“Two men, aged 21 and 27, have been charged in connection with the death.
“They are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
“A third man has been released without charge.
“The identity of the man is still to be confirmed.”
