Two people have been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash which closed a road in Aberdeenshire for several hours on Tuesday night.
At around 6.40pm on February 28, police received reports of a crash on the A944 west of Alford involving three vehicles.
Emergency services attended and two people were taken to hospital as a result. Their conditions are currently unknown.
The road was closed for several hours and reopened at around 10.40pm on Tuesday night.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “Around 6.40pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving three vehicles which happened on the A944 west of Alford.
“Emergency services attended and two people were taken to hospital. The road reopened around 10.40pm.”
