Two men have been arrested over an assault near a secondary school in Aberdeen.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Bedford Avenue, near St Machar Academy, at around 10.45am on Friday.
An 18-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were arrested and enquiries remain ongoing.
Police said there was no risk to the community after the “isolated incident”. STV News understands the incident did not take place on school grounds.
Aberdeen City Council said it could not comment on the live police matter.
“Officers attended and two men, aged 18 and 27, were arrested in connection with assault,” Police Scotland said.
“This was an isolated incident and there was no risk to the community.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
