Two men charged after Ford Fiestas stolen from residential area

Two men have been charged after two Ford Fiestas were stolen in Aberdeen.

The two vehicles were reported stolen from outside properties in Summerhill Crescent and Hazlehead Road on April 1, 2024.

Police confirmed two men, aged 27 and 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with the theft.

They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.

A 29-year-old man will also be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective constable Lewis Ingram said: “Acquisitive crime such as having your car stolen can have a significant impact on victims and we will not tolerate this type of behaviour in our communities.

“If you see or hear suspicious activity around a vehicle in your area please contact Police Scotland on 101.”
