Two men are fighting for their lives after a crash involving two vans and a car on the Aberdeen bypass.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A90 Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) between the A93 and A944 junctions around 11.30am on Tuesday.
A white and red Iveco Rigid Tipper van, a white Renault Trafic van and a red Suzuki Alto car were involved in the crash.
Two men, aged 24 and 79, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where they remain in a critical condition.
The road was closed for around ten hours to allow for investigations to take place.
Sergeant Dave Cooper said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the crash to come forward and speak to officers.
“I’d also ask that anyone driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured something significant that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident number 1118 of December 16, 2025.
