Two people have been rushed to hospital following a crash on the A90 involving three cars.
Emergency services were called to the Greenwellheads Access Road just before 10am on Saturday.
Two people were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The A90 from the A952 junction at Cortes and south of Crimond remains closed, Police Scotland said.
A spokesperson for the force added: “We were made aware of a crash involving three vehicles on Greenwellheads Access Road on the A90, Crimond, at 9.55am on Saturday.
“Emergency services attended and two people have been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance.”
