A stretch of a busy major road was closed in Perthshire on Monday morning following a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the A9 at Birnham shortly before noon on August 7.
The crash caused the road to close in both directions and motorists have been warned that traffic remains heavy in the area.
The road reopened fully at 1.10pm.
There are no details of any injuries as a result of the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police and emergency services are currently at a two-vehicle road crash on the A9 at Birnham, Perthshire.
“Officers were called to the incident around 11.55 am on Monday, August 7, 2023.
“The road is now open.
“No further details at this time.”
