Appeal to trace man missing from Forfar without crucial medication

Serious concerns have been raised over the welfare of Daniel Mullen since his disappearance from the town on Tuesday, June 14.

An appeal has been launched to trace a man missing from Angus without “vital” medication.

Daniel Mullen was last seen in the Forfar area on Tuesday, June 14 but has failed to make contact with friends or family since.

Police say they are now becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of the 35-year-old – who is not understood to be in possession of medication required to maintain his health.

They have since urged anyone who believes they may have seen him to contact officers immediately.

Daniel is described as around 5’11 tall with an average build and is said to have a “distinctive” high-pitched voice and walking style on his tiptoes.

Inspector Mahboob Ahmad, of Tayside Police Division, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Daniel’s health and welfare.

“Daniel requires medication that if he does not receive, may be detrimental to his health.

“I would encourage anyone with any information regarding Daniel’s whereabouts, or who has recently seen Daniel to contact police.”

Inspector Ahmad added: “Likewise, I would appeal directly to Daniel, if you see this message Daniel, then please contact the police or approach any police officer and identify yourself so we can ensure that you are safe and well.

“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0734 of June 14.”
