A man with dementia who went missing whilst out with his wife in Dundee has been traced.

James Brady disappeared after he became separated from his wife for a short period of time in the Victoria Road area of Dundee at around 12.20pm.

Officers said the family was worried for the 73-year-old and had launched an appeal in a bid to trace him.

On Monday evening, police confirmed Mr Brady had been traced.

The public have been thanked for their assistance.
