Aberdeen and Rangers fans clashed with police during a mass disturbance ahead of a match at Pittodrie.
Footage shared on social media showed dozens of fans charging at each other on Summerfield Terrace before the two teams met on Sunday afternoon.
Groups of supporters dressed in black had to be kept apart by officers who appeared to be hit with missiles during the disturbance.
Police can be seen in the footage displaying batons to control the sets of supporters, who trade punches and throw glass bottles.
Chief Inspector Christopher Kerr said there were no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing into the disturbance.
It is understood no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Rangers won the game at Pittodrie thanks to goals from Thelo Aasgaard and James Tavernier.
