A wildfire near a wind farm in Moray continues to grow due to strong winds as crews battle the blaze overnight.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Knockando at around 5.28pm on Sunday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched one appliance to the scene, but crews requested a second at around 8pm.
Paul’s Hill Windfarm consists of 28 turbines southwest of Elgin. The towers are 58.5m tall and carry turbines with a roto diameter of 82m.


Crews continued to battle the blaze overnight.
The latest update from the Fire Service on Monday morning said the blaze “continued to grow” due to strong winds.
Two appliances remain at the scene.
A spokesperson for Fred Olsen Renewables said: “There is a wildfire currently ongoing in the vicinity of Paul’s Hill Wind Farm in Scotland, which is owned by Fred. Olsen Renewables. The fire service is on site and actively working to bring the fire under control.
“There is no immediate threat to people or damage to our infrastructure, but as a precaution, we have temporarily halted production at the wind farm.
“Fred. Olsen Renewables has activated its emergency response organisation and is working closely with the relevant authorities to manage the situation.”
