A 91-year-old woman died after a house fire in Moray at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to the blaze in Clark Street, Hopeman, at 4.25pm on Sunday.
Police are investigating but do not believe there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the pensioner’s death.
A spokeswoman said: “A 91 year-old woman has died following a fire at a house in Clark Street, Hopeman, on Sunday, June 7.
“Emergency Services were called to the address at 4.25pm on Sunday afternoon and enquiries are continuing.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
