A woman has been charged in connection with the death of a pensioner who was assaulted during an attempted robbery in Dundee.
The 97-year-old man was seriously injured during the incident at a property on Dryburgh Gardens on April 25.
He died in hospital over a month later on May 25.
A 43-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on April 17 and was remanded in custody.
Police have now confirmed that the woman has been charged in connection with the man’s death after further investigations.
The woman is expected to reappear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday, September 19.
