A woman has been charged following a dog attack in Perth.
On Saturday, a dog jumped on a woman, bit her arm and pulled her to the ground, causing her to hit her head.
The attack happened near the junction of Strathtay Road and Newhouse Road at around 5.30pm.
On Wednesday, the force said a 26-year-old woman had been charged in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson said: “A 26-year-old woman has been charged in connection with offences under the Dangerous Dog (Scotland) Act following an incident on Saturday, August 1 when a woman was bitten by a dog.
“The 26-year-old woman is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
