Woman charged with threatening behaviour and possession of a weapon in Aberdeen

A woman has been charged in connection with threatening behaviour and possession of a weapon after an incident in Aberdeen.

Police say a 38-year-old woman was arrested after officers were called to a property in the Froghall Gardens area of the city at around 6pm on Friday, July 17, where a group had gathered outside.

The woman is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday July 20.

The force confirmed no one else was arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Friday, 17 July, officers attended at a property in the Froghall Gardens area of Aberdeen where a group had gathered.

“A 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with threatening behaviour and possession of a weapon. She is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 July, 2026.

“No one else was arrested.”
