A woman has been taken to hospital and people have been treated at the scene after a car collided with a campervan on the A9.
Police were called to the A9, near Birnam, after a Volkswagen Polo and a Volkswagen California Ocean campervan were involved in a crash at around 5.30pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended and took a woman, the driver of the Volkswagen Polo, to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.
Two people also received treatment at the scene.
The road was closed for around two hours while vehicle recovery took place but has since reopened.
Road policing sergeant Kevin Wilkie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into the crash, and we are appealing for anyone who was on the A9 near Birnam around the time to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch if they believe they can assist.”
