The Conservatives have dropped support for two of the party’s candidates accused of betting on the timing of the General Election.
The Tories “can no longer support” Craig Williams or Laura Saunders, a spokesperson for the party said.
A number of people are being investigated by the Gambling Commission over allegations they had used inside knowledge to bet on the date of the July 4 election.
