John Swinney is set to face MSPs in the chamber at Holyrood on Thursday, days after unveiling his Programme for Government.
Swinney will likely be challenged on his government’s plans for the coming parliamentary term, after unveiling plans to cap bus fares to £2 in the west of Scotland, increase childcare provisions for parents, and plans to tackle domestic violence.
First Minister’s Questions may also see Swinney face queries on plans to slash Scotland’s health boards to just two, which has prompted concerns from those in rural communities.
First Minister’s Questions will begin at 1.30pm.
