John Swinney will face questions on Scotland’s budget deficit after Wednesday’s report by Audit Scotland.
It comes after a report by Audit Scotland found that the Scottish Government is failing to take the necessary action to address its budget deficit.
The watchdog has said that ministers have not “been sufficiently transparent with the Scottish Parliament or the public” over the state of the finances.
This has been backed by more than 400 leaders in the hospitality sector, who are calling on the Scottish Government to cut business rates in the upcoming Budget.
The First Minister is also likely to face questions over Eric Trump’s comments on business in Scotland.
After publicly endorsing Kamala Harris ahead of the US election, Mr Swinney was criticised by Donald Trump’s son this week following his father’s election victory – who said that the Scottish Government is “anti-business”.
