A total of 117 school pupils have tested positive for Covid-19 since schools reopened.
Students began returning to class for the first time in almost five months from August 11.
Since then, 77 pupils aged between 12 and 17, and 40 between five and 11 have tested positive for the virus.
The figures were confirmed by education secretary John Swinney in the Scottish Parliament.
He also revealed 11,208 in the 12-17 and 28,664 in the 5-11 categories tested negative for Covid-19.
Swinney said: “Full contact tracing is undertaken in all cases where a positive case is detected and I pay tribute to the enormous industry that is put into this effort by the contact tracers.
“They have a really difficult job to do and they do it with proficiency and accuracy and on a comprehensive basis.”
On Monday, it became mandatory for high school pupils to wear masks between classes.
