Rishi Sunak is facing PMQs for the first time since MPs voted to strip Boris Johnson’s access to parliament.
MPs voted by 354 to seven to back the Privileges Committee’s report that found the former prime minister deliberately misled Parliament on several occasions over lockdown parties in Downing Street.
The vote means Johnson will not be given a former members’ pass to the House of Commons, which would have given him free access to parliament following his resignation.
A total of 118 Conservatives voted in favour of the report.
But the Prime Minister was among 225 Tory MPs who abstained, which led to accusations of “weakness” from opposition parties.
