Candidates standing in the upcoming Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election go head-to-head in a live televised debate on STV on Tuesday evening.
STV political editor Colin Mackay will moderate the debate, which will feature Katy Loudon (SNP), Michael Shanks (Labour) and Thomas Kerr (Conservative).
The Scottish Liberal Democrats were invited but decided not to take part.
The three-candidates will have the opportunity to cross-examine each other throughout the programme.
In total, 14 candidates are taking part in the contest.
Earlier this month, MPs passed an SNP motion, known as a writ, calling a by-election in Rutherglen and Hamilton West on October 5.
It follows the recall of Margaret Ferrier, who was removed by constituents after she was convicted of breaking Covid lockdown rules in 2020.
Watch the debate in a Scotland Tonight special airing on STV at 10.40pm on Tuesday night and on the STV Player.
