Watch: First Minister sets out Scotland's plan for living with Covid

Nicola Sturgeon outlining Scottish Government's blueprint for managing and recovering from coronavirus pandemic.

Nicola Sturgeon is laying out her plans for how Scotland will live with coronavirus in the coming months.

Speaking in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday, the First Minister is updating MSPs as the Scottish Government’s blueprint for managing and recovering from Covid-19 is published.

The announcement comes after Sturgeon said on Monday it would be “unacceptable” for public health decisions of the devolved administrations to be impacted by funding decisions taken by the UK Government.

From Thursday, people who test positive for coronavirus in England will no longer be required to self-isolate.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson also announced that free universal testing will come to an end in England in April – the Scottish Government would like to keep that policy intact but it will depend on whether they have the funds available.
