The largest number of new MSPs since 1999 will take their seats in Holyrood after the Scottish Parliament election last week.
The SNP won the most seats with 58.
Reform UK and Scottish Labour are in joint second with 17 each, followed by the Scottish Greens with a record 15.
The Scottish Conservatives returned 12 MSPs followed by the Scottish Liberal Democrats with ten.
A total of 64 newbies, almost half of the total cohort, are now experiencing their first week as elected representatives.
So what happens next?
The newly elected MSPs began arriving at the Scottish Parliament to begin their new jobs on Monday.
They’ve had their photos taken for their security badges, had a tour of the chamber and been allocated a buddy to help steer them through the first days.
The group have also had a chat with outgoing Presiding Officer Alison Johnstone.
These inductions will continue on Tuesday before the Kirking of the Parliament takes place on Wednesday at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.
The Kirking of the Parliament is a service held at the start of every new Parliamentary term – usually before the first sitting of the session.
Thursday will mark the first official day of Parliamentary business when MSPs will choose who will be this term’s Presiding Officer.
Members will then elect two new Deputy Presiding Officers.
When will we have a new Scottish Government?
Unlike in General Elections, when you vote for your MSP, you are not electing the First Minister.
Instead, the new First Minister is elected by MSPs – each MSP will vote for one person they think should take the job.
Typically, the new First Minister is the leader of the biggest party.
A new First Minister is expected to be voted for next Tuesday, May 19.
They will then begin shaping their Cabinet, appointing cabinet secretaries and ministers that will form the next Scottish Government.
Meanwhile, the other parties will be looking at who they may bring in as official spokespeople in their shadow cabinets.
