A further four people have died in Scotland after being diagnosed with coronavirus, the Scottish Government has confirmed.
Total confirmed cases of the virus has risen to 31,451 – a jump of 764 in the past 24 hours.
The new fatalities take Covid-related deaths to 18 this week.
The official death toll in Scotland stands at 2530, however weekly figures on suspected Covid-19 deaths suggest the most up-to-date total is now 4261.
The 764 fresh cases amount to 12.1% of newly-tested Scots.
According to management information reported by NHS boards across Scotland, 191 people are in hospital with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 – an increase of 16 overnight. Out of those, 23 patients are in intensive care.
Of the new cases, 299 are in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde region, 152 are in Lanarkshire and there are 143 across NHS Lothian.
Both NHS Forth Valley and NHS Ayrshire and Arran recorded 34 new cases each, whilst NHS Highland and NHS Grampian both reported 19.
NHS Tayside has 27 new cases, NHS Fife has 23, NHS Western Isles and NHS Dumfries and Galloway both have five, whilst NHS Borders reported four.
NHS Shetland and NHS Orkney are the only two regions not to report new cases in the past seven days.
