A further 2372 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland overnight, according to official figures.
The daily test positivity rate is 12.6%, up from the 11.4% reported on Sunday.
Of the new cases reported on Monday, 601 are in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region, 561 are in Lothian, 279 are in Lanarkshire and 268 are in Tayside.
The rest of the cases are spread out across nine other health board areas.
A total of 338 people were in hospital on Sunday with recently confirmed Covid-19, a rise of 22 overnight. Out of those, 30 patients are in intensive care.
No further deaths have been reported.
The lab-confirmed death toll of those who tested positive currently stands at 7729, however figures including suspected Covid-19 deaths recorded by National Records of Scotland suggest the most up-to-date total is now at least 10,168.
It was also confirmed that 3,869,223 Scots have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, an increase of 11,639 from the day before.
A total of 2,774,136 people have received their second dose, a rise of 11,980.
The figures come as five Scottish health boards placed in the top ten table of the worst Covid case rates in Europe, according to stats published by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Speaking on Good Morning Scotland on Monday, national clinical director Jason Leitch said that people in Scotland have got “less natural immunity”, due to the country not having topped the table throughout the pandemic.
He added: “It’s not a league table you want to top, and I want to get us off there as quick as we possibly can.”
