The number of coronavirus cases in Scotland have risen for a second day.
On Sunday, figures released by the Scottish Government showed that there were 23 new cases of the virus.
It is the highest number since June 21, when there were 26 positive test results.
It comes as the worldwide number of coronavirus deaths surpassed 600,000.
The Scottish Government stated that there initially had been 24 new cases reported, however a case in Fife had since been de-notified and is now classed as negative.
It follows yesterday’s total of 21 cases, which was the highest rise in case numbers in Scotland in a month.
The data also shows there were no deaths involving someone who had been confirmed as having Covid-19, meaning the death toll under this measurement remains unchanged from Thursday at 2491.
This weekend has been the first in Scotland where the public have been able to visit pubs, bars and restaurants indoors.
The hospitality and tourism sectors reopened on Wednesday as part of phase three of the Scottish Government’s route map out of lockdown.
