A famous Scottish castle has been included in the a list of top destinations to visit based on the “colour of the year”.
Pantone revealed that its highly anticipated colour for 2024 was “PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz”.
In its announcement the colour experts described peach fuzz as “velvety gentle” that “enriches mind, body, and heart”.
Pantone said the warm shade highlighted desire “for togetherness with others”, what better way to honour that than venturing to new destinations.
“Peach fuzz is a heartfelt peach hue bringing a feeling of tenderness and communicating a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration,” a company spokesperson said.
With that in mind, Planet Cruise compiled a list of the most aesthetically pleasing “peach fuzz locations” around the world including Scotland’s own Craigievar Castle.
From India to Scotland, mountains to castles, the list will inspire thousands of 2024 adventures.
The Hawa Mahal
The Hawa Mahal is a palace in the city of Jaipur, India, five hours away from Delhi.
The palace is built from red and sandstone in 1799.
Planet Cruise said the best time to visit the Hawa Mahal is in the morning when the sun rises as the sun rays amplify the spectacular colours of the building.
Craigievar Castle
Completed in 1626 this iconic seven-story castle is amongst the best preserved in the whole of Scotland, with its unique exterior attracting many tourists each year.
Craigievar Castle is currently under renovation, however, it is due to be completed and open to the public again this Spring.
Tan Dinh Church
Tan Dinh Church or the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is a Roman Catholic church in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
It’s striking appearance attracts thousands of visitors exploring the unusual construction which has survived for decades.
Valley of Fire
Valley of Fire State Park is a public nature preservation area covering nearly 40,000 acres in Overton, Nevada, USA.
The location is known worldwide for its acres of bright red Aztec sandstone combined with grey and tan limestone.
The national park is open all year round and can be reached by car on all designated driving routes
Las Salinas de Torrevieja
Las Salinas of Torrevieja is a rose-tinted lake located in Valencia, Spain that is home to thousands of flamingos during breeding season.
Another big attraction is the high salt levels in the lake and the black mud surrounding it, being a perfect natural spa for visitors, helping improve health and skin appearance.
