Flood warnings have been issued for large parts of Scotland with most of the country set to be battered with heavy rain overnight.
Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city, Dundee, Angus and Tayside are expected to be among the worst hit parts.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for flooding for these areas active from Saturday night until Sunday morning.
River levels are expected to rise with the potential for flooding to properties.
Road users are also advised to check their route beforehand and expect delays in affected areas.
And disruption to rail and bus services are also anticipated.
There is also potential for power cuts and loss of other services during this time.
Meanwhile less severe yellow weather warnings are active for much of the rest of the country including Glasgow and Edinburgh.
