Former first minister Nicola Sturgeon will be reflecting on her career in Scottish politics in a special ‘an evening with’ event in Edinburgh.
Sturgeon will be taking to the stage of the Usher Hall in October to share her thoughts on her career in politics—from her early days in the Scottish Parliament to leading the country through “historic and often turbulent times.”
Tickets range from £33 to £73, with an additional of meet and greet for £75.
“Don’t miss this rare chance to hear directly from one of the most recognisable voices in UK politics, live on stage in Edinburgh’s iconic Usher Hall,” the event page says.
In an in-depth interview followed by an audience Q&A, Sturgeon said she will offer personal insights into leadership, public service, and the challenges and triumphs that have shaped her journey.
“I will also share some thoughts on what lies ahead – for me, for Scotland, and for politics more broadly,” Sturgeon said on her Instagram page.
The event has been announced just weeks after Sturgeon’s name was cleared in a police investigation into the SNP’s finances.
In March, the former first minister said she’d been “vindicated” and that there was “never a scrap of evidence” against her.
The news came after prosecutors gave Police Scotland guidance on what further action should be taken in the probe into the SNP’s finances.
Last year, the force handed over its findings to the Crown and asked for direction on the next steps of the probe known as Operation Branchform.
In the midst of the investigation, Sturgeon’s relationship with husband Peter Murrell broke down as police investigated the finances of Scotland’s governing party.
The SNP power couple announced their plans to divorce in January after being estranged for some time.
Sturgeon also recently announced that she would not seek re-election to the Scottish Parliament in 2026.
The event will be held on Tuesday, October 7, at the 2,200-capacity Usher Hall in Scotland’s Capital.
