A fresh yellow warning for ice will be in place for much of the north of Scotland after days of extreme weather.
Northern parts of the country have faced days of disruption to road, air, rail and ferry routes after several Met Office weather warnings were in place.
An amber alert for heavy rain, snow and ice last week forced hundreds of schools in Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands and Orkney and Shetland to close for several days.
Aberdeenshire Council declared a major incident with a number of schools still closed on Monday.
Two yellow alerts for wind and rain were in place this weekend across large parts of the north, with up to 110mm of rain and gusts of up to 85mph forecast. Both warnings ended on Monday morning.
Now, a fresh yellow alert for ice has been issued for much of the north of the country from 7pm on Monday until 10am on Tuesday.
The warning covers Angus, Perth and Kinross, Stirling, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands and Argyll and Bute.
Forecasters say a combination of clear spells and light winds will allow road temperatures to fall below freezing on Monday evening across northern Scotland, continuing overnight and into Tuesday morning.
This will allow icy stretches to form on untreated surfaces. The public is advised to take extra care and be aware of the risk of some minor travel disruption.
There is also a warning to take care on icy surfaces for slips and falls.
It comes as the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) issued flood warnings for 19 areas and increased the number of less severe flood alerts to 12, spanning most of the country on Monday.
The warnings are in place in areas including Dalry and Kilwinning in North Ayrshire, Aberfoyle in Stirling, Newton Stewart and Whitesands in Dumfries and Galloway, the Churchill Barriers in Orkney, and the Carse of Lennoch to Lochlane, Glen Lyon, and Crieff to Innerpeffray in Tayside.
The flood alerts affect much of the rest of Scotland.
