Scotland fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to get their hands on gold dust tickets for the World Cup next summer.

Now, the Scottish FA has released all the key details for the most loyal Tartan Army followers ahead of a rush for tickets for the tournament in North America.

Steve Clarke’s men square off with Haiti in Massachusetts on June 14, before facing Morocco five days later at the same Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

Scotland are then set for a glamour clash with Brazil on June 26 in Miami.

However, the SFA has revealed just under 4,000 tickets have been allocated for each of the Group C games.

Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) members will receive an access code on Monday, December 15, which will allow them access to the FIFA Portal to apply for tickets from Scotland’s Participating Member Association (PMA) allocation.

The sending of these codes will be staggered throughout the day, based on SSC points total, but there is no first-come, first-served element.

Members have until the final deadline of Tuesday, January 13, to apply for tickets but are urged to apply before the SFA’s recommended deadline of 11pm on Sunday, December 21.

Pricing is split into three tiers, with fans only able to apply for tickets from one category.

The Premier Tier tickets are priced at $500 (£372), Standard Tier tickets cost $400 (£298) and Value Tier seats are set at $180 (£134) each.

Tartan Army fans will not have to pay for any tickets until February, when the application window closes, and successful applicants are contacted.

Fans will have to enter their card details during the initial application, and payment will be taken if the application is successful.

Under FIFA’s system, there is no option to decline the tickets once an application is successful.

Where can you watch otherwise?

Scotland’s match against Morocco will be shown live on STV and on the STV Player, after broadcasters agreed their picks for next year’s World Cup finals.

STV will also have the side’s first knock-out game if the Dark Blues make history by getting out of the group for the first time.

The other two group games, against Haiti and Brazil, will be shown on the BBC.

FIFA’s World Cup tickets are available on the official website here.
