Users using the Bank of Scotland, Lloyds, and Halifax mobile banking apps reported seeing transactions that appeared to belong to other users.
On Thursday morning, finance expert Martin Lewis said some Lloyds Banking Group customers could view charges and payments on accounts other than their own.
Some users reported being able to see name, sort code, and account number for the money transfer and employer’s wages.
He wrote said: “Do you use the Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax apps? People have been messsaging me this morning of being shown other people’s transactions.
“I want to see how widespread this is. Has it happened to you?”
