No new deaths of Scots with Covid-19 have been reported for the second day in a row.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon welcomed the figure but stressed reported deaths tend to be fewer at weekends.
It means the death toll is unchanged since Saturday, with 2472 deaths of confirmed coronavirus cases, or 4094 when including suspected deaths.
A total of 14 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking Scotland’s total over the course of the pandemic to 18,170.
There are 867 people in hospital with confirmed or suspected coronavirus, a rise of 66 on Sunday, although the First Minister stressed the rise was all suspected cases.
Of that total, 15 people are being treated in intensive care, down one on the day before.
Nearly 4000 people who had the virus have been able to leave hospital since March 5.
Speaking at the Scottish Government’s Monday briefing, Sturgeon said: “I know that when numbers of cases and deaths here are continuing to fall it is very tempting for all of us to think it is all over and we should just now quickly get back to normal.
“We are trying to get back to normal and we want to do that as quickly as possible, but let me reiterate my strong view that acting recklessly now would be a serious mistake.
“We must continue to be cautious and all of us must continue to adhere strictly to the public health advice. That will help us continue progress and avoid a resurgence of the virus now.
“But it will also hopefully put us in a much stronger position ahead of the winter months to come.”
