Scotland experienced the coldest night of the year on Sunday, with temperatures plummeting to below -15C into the early hours of Monday morning.
People across the country have been sharing their images of snow-covered streets, pets braving the cold and scenic, white-covered landscapes.
The snow and ice is set to continue with travel disruption warned and forecasters reporting a chance that rural communities will be temporarily cut-off.
The coldest areas through the night were Braemar with -15.6C and Balmoral at -13.1C, according to Met Office weather stations.
The severe weather has led to disruption across the country including schools closures, flights being cancelled at Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and callouts for Braemar Mountain Rescue.
