Many restaurants across Scotland plan price cuts to lure customers as the government-backed Eat Out To Help Out scheme ends.
The scheme has allowed customers could get up to 50% off meals from Monday to Wednesday during August.
It was designed to help the hospitality industry back on its feet after a four-month lockdown.
Now many venues and chains will be continuing it off their own backs in a bid to keep the customers in during September.
Restaurants including Tuk Tuk and Catch in Glasgow and Boozy Cow and Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh will all be running similar deals during the week while Pizza Hut will be doing two for one offers.
More than 64 million people throughout the UK took advantage of the scheme in its first three weeks alone, according to government figures.
Meanwhile there have been calls to extend Eat Out To Help Out in Aberdeen due to the city remaining in lockdown during the majority of August.
Earlier this week a poll showed that four-fifths of businesses in area would support a localised version of the scheme.
