Irn-BruIrn-Bru has released two retro-inspired limited edition flavours of Irn-Bru Xtra inspired by tastes of the 90s and Y2K era.
Raspberry Ripple and Wild Berry Slush versions of Irn-Bru Xtra have hit the shelves this month for a limited time.
The company said that Wild Berry Slush will “instantly transport fans to texting on their flip phone and grabbing an iced slush drink” while Raspberry Ripple is “reminiscent of listening to chart-topping songs from spiky-haired boy bands, and getting a cone from the ice-cream van, smothered in raspberry sauce”.
Kenny Nicholson at Irn-Bru, said: “The 90s and early 2000s were a time of talent show pop hits, flip phones and Tamagotchis. Our new limited-edition Irn-Bru Xtra flavours are reminiscent of those years, and we are sure our Bru fans will share a love for them as they do for those past times.
“After the success of our ice-cream and tropical launch last year, we are excited for Raspberry Ripple and Wild Berry Slush to hit the shelves so everyone can get a taste of nostalgia.
“Like last year, once they are gone, they are gone, so get your hands on them while you can and see which flavour is your favourite.”
