A young boy has been left injured after being struck by a car in Glasgow.
The ten-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident that took place on Dalmarnock Road on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11.30am.
The boy was taken to the city’s Royal Hospital for Children where he is being treated for his injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed the incident.
A statement from the force said: “Around 11.30am on Saturday, 28 September, 2024, we were called to a report of a 10-year-old boy struck by a car on Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow.
“He has been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children.”
