Scotland’s Covid-19 infection rate remains the highest in the UK for the seventh consecutive week, according to figures released on Friday.
The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in a seven day period has also risen for the fifth week in a row.
According to the figures released by the Office for National Statistics, around one in every 17 people in Scotland had coronavirus in the week between June 24 and June 30.
This is a jump from one in 18 from the previous week and higher than England (one in 25), Wales (one in 20) and Northern Ireland (one in 19).
The estimated number of positive tests in Scotland last week reached 312,800, just under 6% of the total population.
Cases have been rising steadily since May 28 when around one in 40 people had the virus in Scotland.
The following week it grew to one in 40 then one in 30 was recorded for the week ending June 10 and one in 20 for the week of June 17.
The figures are released on the week Scotland passed 15,000 Covid deaths and a report from Public Health Scotland showed an increase of 42.5% in cases during the week up to July 3.
