iStockUnemployment in Scotland rose slightly in the last quarter, according to latest figures.
Data from the Office for National Statistics shows the unemployment rate for people aged 16 and over was 4.7% between March and May this year.
This was 0.5% up on the previous quarter but below the UK-wide unemployment rate of 4.9%.
The employment rate for people aged 16 to 64 was 74.3%, which was 0.3% up on the previous quarter.
The figures show the inactivity rate, the proportion of the working-age population who are neither working nor actively seeking employment, has decreased in the last quarter.
Between March and May this year, 21.8% of people aged 16 to 64 in Scotland were classified as inactive, a 0.8% decrease from the last quarter
