The Covid vaccine booster jag will be available for all 30-39-year-olds in Scotland from Monday.
Nicola Sturgeon and health secretary Humza Yousaf announced the news on Sunday and said that appointments will open up to 19-29-year-olds later in the week.
To be eligible 12 weeks must have elapsed between your 2nd dose and Booster.
It comes as Scotland saw the biggest jump in Omicron cases since the new variant was identified.
On Sunday, the Scottish Government confirmed there were 159 cases of Omicron across the country, more than triple last week’s number.
Taking to Twitter Yousaf said: “From tomorrow you can book your booster if you’re aged 30-39.
“We intend on opening portal to 18-29yr olds later in the week, details to follow.
“We know just how important a tool vaccination, and in particular the Booster is in our fight against the virus.”
And the First Minister echoed the health secretary and said: “If you are in older age groups and haven’t yet had booster, please also book now.”
Scotland recorded over 4000 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
