Coronavirus self-isolation rules in Scotland are to be cut from ten to seven days, the First Minister has announced.
Nicola Sturgeon addressed MSPs virtually at the Scottish Parliament at 2pm Wednesday afternoon.
The FM had faced pressure from opposition parties to make the change, which applies as long as people test negative on days six and seven of isolation.
The rule change comes as a further 16,103 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Scotland in the last 24 hours.
