Aberdeen have booked themselves a place in Sunday’s Scottish Cup fifth round draw with a victory over League Two strugglers Clyde.
The Dons navigated the first of this weekend’s fourth round ties with a 2-0 victory in Hamilton on Friday night.
Bojan Miovski and Nicky Devlin grabbed the goals as they eased past Ian McCall’s side.
The Premiership club looked to impose themselves on the game early with Devlin and Polvara both coming close in the first half.
But the fourth-tier side also had chances of their own and forward Conor Young hit the post after a quick counter attack.
Miovski put Aberdeen in front with a well timed half-volley on the half-hour mark after good work from Jamie McGrath on the left hand side.
The Republic of Ireland international put the ball into the box before Devlin chested it down to the Macedonia forward and he fired it past Clyde goalkeeper Jack Leighfield.
Barry Robson’s side then doubled their lead just before the hour-mark when Devlin made it 2-0.
Polvara fed the ball to the full-back who fired a shot low and hard past the keeper to put the top-flight in a comfortable position.
It’s a trip to St Johnstone up next for Aberdeen as they return to Premiership action on Wednesday night.
